Jeopardy! Introduces a New Spinoff Series on YouTube
Jeopardy! is set to innovate with a new spinoff aimed at engaging a younger audience through digital platforms.
The iconic game show is launching a special edition on YouTube, marking the beginning of an expanded initiative for the Jeopardy! YouTube channel.
Hosted by Ken Jennings, the Jeopardy! YouTube Edition will premiere on March 31. The inaugural episode features YouTube creators Monét X Change, Rebecca Black, and Brennan Lee Mulligan competing against one another.
This latest spinoff builds on the show’s legacy; previously, Amazon aired a special season of Pop Culture Jeopardy!, hosted by Colin Jost, which has since transitioned to Netflix for its second season.
The project is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Television, social-focused creative agency We Are Social, and YouTube, aimed at revitalizing the gaming series’ presence on digital platforms.

“Jeopardy! is one of the most successful and enduring brands in television history, with decades of cultural relevance and a loyal audience,” said Suzanne Prete, President of Game Shows at Sony Pictures Television. “As we bring our YouTube strategy to life, we’re incredibly excited to build on that legacy while connecting with new audiences in a way that feels fresh, interactive, and native to the platform.”
Kevin Allocca, Global Head of Culture and Trends at YouTube, commented, “Blurring the lines between a traditional broadcast format and a new era of digital consumption results in something that’s fun for both new fans and old ones. Seeing Jeopardy! intersect with YouTube creators underscores how the two can amplify each other in ways that feel surprisingly authentic and are a testament to the enduring relevance of these formats.”
