Jennifer Lopez has officially returned to the Las Vegas stage. On Tuesday, she launched her “Up All Night” residency at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum, delivering an entertainment-packed evening with over two hours of her chart-topping hits, dynamic dance performances, and numerous costume changes, alongside a special guest appearance.
The 56-year-old singer showcased her remarkable stamina, performing well-known tracks including “Dance Again,” “Let’s Get Loud,” “I’m Into You,” and “On the Floor.” The show captures a blend of modern sounds and nostalgic Vegas vibes, featuring a 15-piece orchestra and a striking, jewel-encrusted piano adorned with the initials “JLo.” One standout moment saw Lopez atop this piano in a dramatic pink gown during her performance of “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”
Lopez fostered a celebratory atmosphere, exclaiming, “I’m in my happy era,” as the audience buzzed with excitement in anticipation of the upcoming New Year. The production paid homage to past eras, incorporating burlesque elements, traditional showgirl attire, and tributes to legends like The Rat Pack and Elvis Presley. Throughout the night, Lopez adeptly transformed her familiar pop arrangements into moody, jazzy renditions, revitalizing her catalog.

The residency is a heartfelt tribute to the icons and musical styles that have inspired Lopez throughout her career. “I thought about all these inspirations that I had, the timeless movies and the classic musicals, the entertainers who shaped the performer I am,” she shared. “So tonight, if you would indulge me, I’d like to live out some of my little girl fantasies and celebrate those memories, but in my own way. I’d like to pay homage to all the amazing entertainers that have graced this stage before me.”
Midway through the show, fans erupted with excitement as rapper Ja Rule made a surprise entrance, joining Lopez on stage for “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny,” adding to the night’s nostalgic appeal.

Lopez connected with the audience by humorously addressing her recent headlines, including her divorce from Ben Affleck. “And in that time, I’ve only been married twice,” she joked, quickly correcting herself, “That’s not true. It was only once. It felt like twice.” She continued, “I’m just kidding. It’s fine. It’s all good. The good news is that I’m learning and I’m growing, and we’re in our happy era.”
The show featured Lopez’s vibrant energy, from her dramatic entrance out of an oversized champagne bottle to her grand exit under a cascade of balloons and confetti.

The evening also included a contemporary twist, as Lopez performed “Kiss of the Spider Woman” from her upcoming 2025 film. She embraced her Latin roots with “El Anillo” (“The Ring”), sung entirely in Spanish.

In the final act, Lopez opened up to the audience during a stripped-down rendition of her iconic 1999 hit “If You Had My Love.” “I’ve sung that song so many times, so many stages in so many different ways,” she reflected. “Now I sing it empowered,” she emphasized. “Because the truth is that if you wanted to have my love, you’d have to earn it. You have to treat me right. You have to respect me. You have to accept me for everything that I am.” She acknowledged the complexities of love, stating, “I know love is a complicated thing, don’t get me wrong. You can’t have love without heartbreak, though, right?”
The “Up All Night” residency marks Lopez’s return to Las Vegas after her successful “All I Have” residency at Planet Hollywood from 2016 to 2019, which featured 120 shows and grossed over $100 million in ticket sales.
