Jennifer Garner Showcases New Side Bangs in Latest Trailer for The Last Thing He Told Me
Jennifer Garner revealed a fresh look featuring side bangs in the newly released trailer for the second season of The Last Thing He Told Me. The actress stars alongside Australian actress Angourie Rice in this Apple TV thriller.
Garner, known for often sporting bangs both on screen and on the red carpet, has made a striking change to her hairstyle. The trailer features her with her long, chocolate-brown hair styled loose, complemented by the new side-swept fringe.
“It’s hard to move forward when you’re looking over your shoulder,” teased Apple TV in the trailer’s caption.

In The Last Thing He Told Me, Garner portrays Hannah Hall, a woman coping with her husband’s mysterious disappearance. As Hannah navigates this troubled period, she forms an unexpected bond with her stepdaughter, Bailey, played by Rice. The series is adapted from Laura Dave’s novel of the same name.

Garner shared her experience landing the role after Julia Roberts stepped away. "I just wrote letters to Laura advocating for myself and talking about what the book meant to me," she explained to Variety. “While Hannah and I are really quite different, there are some pieces of her that I just relate to so much. I had to get a chance to try it out.”

Throughout her career, Garner has embraced various hairstyles, including side bangs, particularly in the mid-2000s. Last summer, she humorously reflected on her bangs’ journey, calling them her "one hair vice" during a TikTok session.
"Bangs: a life-long struggle," she noted in a caption accompanying the nostalgic post.
