Jamie Erdahl Talks About Her Time Away from NFL Network’s Good Morning Football
Jamie Erdahl Addresses Absence from ‘Good Morning Football’
Jamie Erdahl has publicly explained her recent absence from the NFL Network’s ‘Good Morning Football.’ In an Instagram post on March 11, she acknowledged the growing curiosity among fans regarding her whereabouts.
“Since the curiosity is mounting, I’ll share what I feel comfortable with,” Erdahl stated. She revealed that her time away was due to “an extremely personal + tragic health situation of an immediate family member.” She expressed gratitude to her leadership at the NFL for supporting her need for time at home.
Erdahl, a significant figure on the morning show, is set to relocate to Los Angeles in 2024, following the show’s move from its New York studio. A fan of the Minnesota Vikings, she joined ‘Good Morning Football’ in 2022 and currently co-hosts alongside Kyle Brandt and Manti Te’o.
In a previous interview from 2022, Erdahl discussed the show’s distinctive approach, emphasizing its casual tone. “Some sports TV can get really angry and get technical… we are essentially opposite all those things,” she explained. “We like the messy parts of TV… imperfections, and I hope that we are allowed to keep being that way.”
‘Good Morning Football’ airs weekdays at 8 a.m. ET on the NFL Network, while its syndicated version, ‘GMFB: Overtime,’ is available across the U.S. on local stations and on the Roku Channel at 10 a.m. ET.
