Jaime Ray Newman, Jessie Cohen, Tess Paras, and Candace Allen Join the Cast of ‘Poser’ in Exciting New Roles
Netflix Expands Cast for Upcoming Series "Poser"
Netflix has announced the addition of four new cast members for its upcoming drama series, Poser. Joining the recurring cast are Jaime Ray Newman (The Hunting Wives), Jessie Cohen (Mank), Tess Paras (Doc), and Candace Allen (General Hospital). Production is currently underway in Los Angeles.
These actors will join previously announced series regulars Daisy Jelley, Sadie Stanley, Annie Murphy, Joel Oulette, Hubert Smielecki, and Sarah Abbott, creating a diverse ensemble for the show, which is crafted by Lauren Iungerich.
Poser delves into the complexities of toxic female friendships through a thrilling narrative. The story follows two estranged former best friends as one of them seizes an opportunity to attain a life she has long desired. In her quest for answers about their past fallout, she becomes embroiled in a psychological struggle marked by revenge, betrayal, and heartbreak, ultimately impacting their lives and those around them.
Newman will portray Jess, while Cohen will play Jenny. Paras is set to take on the role of Samantha, and Allen will play Melissa.
Recently announced recurring talent includes Barbara Hershey as Helen, and Emily Chen in her debut as Billie. Other cast members include Ethan Loomis as Randy, Golden Landis Von Jones, also known as 24kGoldn, as Leif, Silvia Dionicio as Sonia, and Lauren Donzis as Zoey. The ensemble also features Christian Finlayson as Bodie, Dior Goodjohn as Margot, Ciara Riley Wilson as Jane, Julio Macias as Mr. Cartwright, Adam Beach as Tim, Beth Riesgraf as Tracy, Michael Trucco as Rick, and Nikki DeLoach as Lacey.
Iungerich serves as the writer and showrunner for Poser, a project that falls under her overall deal at Netflix. She is executive producing the series alongside Jamie Dooner through her production company, Crazy Cat Lady Entertainment.
