Jack Osbourne Welcomes Baby No. 5; Ozzy Knew About Aree Gearhart’s Pregnancy Before He Passed Away

The Osbourne family is set to expand once more. Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Gearhart, are excitedly anticipating the arrival of their second child together, which will also be Jack’s fifth overall.

The couple announced the joyful news shortly after Jack, 40, was evicted from the reality show *I’m a Celebrity*. “It’s awesome,” he commented, expressing excitement. “We’re super-excited. It was sort of planned, I should say. It was maybe a little earlier than expected. But it’s definitely something that we wanted to pursue, and somehow it happened, miraculously,” he added.

Jack mentioned that Aree is currently 28 weeks pregnant. Significantly, they shared the news with Jack’s late father, Ozzy, before his passing on July 22, who was 76.

Jack has described the upcoming arrival of their fifth child as a “healing” experience amid the mourning of his father. “I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing — probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way,” he stated. “It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked it in a bit more hopefulness.”

Jack and Aree were married in 2023, and they welcomed their daughter Maple in July of the previous year. Jack also has daughters Pearl, 13, Andy, 10, and Minnie, 7, with his ex-wife, Lisa Stelly.

The couple began dating in 2019 and publicly acknowledged their relationship later that year at the American Music Awards. They had recently tied the knot in a private ceremony in September, with Jack sharing on Instagram, “Something really cool happened. I married the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. All in.”

The announcement comes in the wake of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, with Jack reflecting on his father’s legacy in an emotional tribute one month later, which included photos of his kids. “I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much,” he conveyed in the post. “He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be part of a very small group that got to call him ‘Dad.’ My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude.”

Although Jack and Aree typically keep their children’s lives private on social media, Jack recently shared a family photo, showcasing himself, his daughters, and Aree outdoors.
