Influencer Kristy Scott and Husband Desmond Scott Separate After 12 Years of Marriage

In a significant development, Kristy Scott has filed for divorce from her husband, Desmond Scott, marking the end of their more than decade-long marriage.
According to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, Kristy, 30, submitted the divorce filing on December 30. Reports from TMZ indicate that she cited allegations of infidelity as the reason for the split.
The couple tied the knot in 2014 after dating for four years and share two children: sons Vance and Westin.

In an Instagram Story posted on January 10, Desmond expressed regret over the situation. “I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation,” he wrote. He acknowledged that the news may be disappointing for many and apologized for the hurt it has caused.
Desmond emphasized his commitment to co-parenting their children: “Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys.”
He addressed the challenges they faced as a couple, revealing that he had informed Kristy of his desire to separate at the end of 2025. Desmond also admitted, “I made choices that I am not proud of.” He concluded by requesting privacy as they navigate this difficult chapter.

Both Kristy and Desmond have substantial social media followings, sharing glimpses of their daily lives with followers. Kristy boasts 16.9 million followers on TikTok and 9.5 million on Instagram. Desmond’s TikTok has 1.5 million followers, while his Instagram account has 1.8 million followers.
In 2024, the couple celebrated a decade of marriage with an extravagant floral-themed party, reflecting on their long-standing friendship and shared joy in everyday life.
