Hulu is Working on a New Yacht Rocker Comedy with Theodore Bressman, Neel Shah, and 20th Television
Hulu Develops New Yacht Rock Comedy, ‘Double Or Nothing’
Hulu is set to develop Double Or Nothing, a yacht rocker comedy spearheaded by Theodore Bressman, Neel Shah, and 20th Television.
The series, penned by Bressman and Shah, centers on a washed-up yacht rocker who finds a renewed sense of purpose when he collaborates with an ambitious young rapper. Together, they aim to create the defining album of their careers, exploring themes of redemption and the complexities of second chances.
Bressman and Shah will serve as executive producers alongside Mark Ronson, Peter Rosenberg, Brandon Creed, and Mikey Schwartz-Wright from Good World Productions, as well as Bryan Diperstein of Adventure Media Productions.
Bressman boasts a rich writing portfolio with nominations for a WGA Award. He has contributed to several popular series, including Future Man, Miracle Workers, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Additionally, he co-created the animated series The Pole, featuring Bobby Moynihan and Colin Jost, and was an associate producer on the film Goon. He is represented by CAA and attorney Kim Jaime at Jackoway Austen Tyerman et al.
Neel Shah is recognized for his strong contributions to television, receiving an Emmy nomination for his work on Nobody Wants This and serving as co-executive producer on HBO Max’s Love Life. He is represented by UTA, 3 Arts, and Gang Tyre.
Mark Ronson, a noted producer and songwriter with nine Grammy Awards, is renowned for his collaboration on the hit "Shallow" from A Star Is Born. In addition to his recent projects, including Barbie The Album, he is the recipient of the 2026 Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. Ronson is repped by Good World, CAA, and Carroll Guido Groffman Cohen Bar & Karalian.
Peter Rosenberg is a prominent figure in sports and entertainment, co-hosting ESPN New York’s Don, Hahn & Rosenberg and contributing to WWE as an analyst. Double Or Nothing marks his debut in television production, and he is represented by CAA and Adventure Media.
