JaNa Craig is charting a new course in her dating life following her stint on Love Island USA. After a year-long relationship with fellow contestant Kenny Rodriguez, the couple parted ways in July 2025, just after celebrating their anniversary.
In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Craig reflected on her past experiences on reality television, stating, “I’m so grateful for that first time. It was fun, it was memorable, it’s made me who I am today, but when it comes to dating now, I don’t think I will ever date anyone from that world again.” She expressed a desire for something more genuine and low-key in her future relationships.
Current Relationship Status
Craig is currently single after her split from Rodriguez. She addressed the breakup on social media, clarifying, “As you know, Kenny and I [are] no longer together. Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is.” Rodriguez also shared his feelings, noting the challenges of navigating their split in the public eye: “Breakups are never easy… sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term.”

During her participation in Credit One Bank’s digital series, You’re the Credit One for Me, Craig discussed her criteria for a future partner. In an interview with Us Weekly, she highlighted her preference for individuals who value financial responsibility. “I do like a guy that has good credit,” she remarked, adding that a solid credit score is essential for various aspects of life, such as renting or buying a home. “It’s more important than people realize,” she emphasized.

Future on Reality Television
Craig has definitively ruled out a return to Love Island. In her conversation with OK! Magazine, she stated, “I would never, ever in [her] life” consider looking for love again on television. She reiterated her commitment to seeking a more authentic relationship experience moving forward.
