Has Presley Gerber Taken Out His Face Tattoo? Here’s What His Ink Signifies
Presley Gerber Reflects on Face Tattoo Journey and Removal
In 2020, Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, made headlines with the unveiling of a face tattoo that read “misunderstood,” positioned beneath his left eye. The tattoo garnered a wave of criticism across social media platforms.
Addressing the backlash during an Instagram Live, Presley firmly stated, “If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it… If anyone has s*** to say to me about this… I will give you my address. I promise, and you can come say it to my face.”
Reports indicate that Crawford and Rande were not supportive of their son’s decision to tattoo his face. Sources close to the family described them as “very worried,” and “beside themselves,” regarding his choice. Presley later revealed another face tattoo—a large star that appeared to incorporate the Los Angeles Dodgers logo, which he later clarified was created using a filter.
Presley’s tattoo journey began with the “misunderstood” design in 2020. Since then, he has chosen to remove it. Nearly three years post-debut, he shared insights about the removal process during an appearance on the “Studio 22 Podcast.” “I got a face tattoo, then I got it removed… That was really the last big, visible tattoo that I got. I ran out of space real quick,” he remarked.
Gerber also reflected on his initial tattoo experience, recalling, “Gratitude is one hell of a thing man… At 15 years old I had a really interesting experience and I literally went and got my first tattoo… He was in Canada, the guy in there didn’t check my ID, bing bong, came home with a tattoo.”
In response to a follower’s inquiry about the meaning behind the first face tattoo, Presley explained, “I don’t feel very understood, I guess,” shedding light on the personal significance of his ink.
