Hailey Bieber Stuns in 24-Karat Gold at the 2026 Met Gala Red Carpet
Hailey Bieber made a stunning entrance at the Met Gala 2026 held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night. She dazzled on the iconic red carpet wearing a custom gold bustier and a vibrant blue chiffon skirt designed by Saint Laurent.
Her ensemble featured a draped cape that harmonized with the cobalt skirt, paying homage to influential artists like Yves Klein and Henri Matisse, known for their bold use of blue. The design was inspired by a classic Yves Saint Laurent runway piece from the spring/summer 2002 collection.
Bieber noted that the bustier had been molded to her body, creating a strikingly sculpted look. Her hair was styled in a tight bun, accentuating jewelry from Belperron, including gold ear clips and statement rings embellished with sapphire and emerald.
This year’s Met Gala theme, “Costume Art,” called for attendees to embrace the notion that “Fashion Is Art.” This marks Bieber’s ninth appearance at the event, as she has attended nearly every year since her debut in 2015, missing only the years 2023 and 2024.
In previous years, Bieber’s Met Gala outfits have ranged from an ethereal Tommy Hilfiger gown in 2018 to a pink sequined dress by Alexander Wang in 2019, reflecting the various themes of past events. Her husband, Justin Bieber, has made limited appearances at the Gala, attending only twice in 2015 and 2021.
