GWAR Teams Up with Soulfly and King Parrot for Their Spring 2026 US Tour

GWAR has officially announced “The Gor Gor Strikes Back Tour,” a spring 2026 US tour featuring support from Soulfly and King Parrot.

The tour will launch in GWAR’s hometown of Richmond, Virginia, and will conclude with a performance on April 29th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour will traverse the country, making stops in several major cities including Boston, Chicago, Portland, Los Angeles, and Houston, among others.

Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, with additional options available on StubHub for sold-out shows. GWAR’s frontman, The Berserker Blothar, expressed his excitement for the tour, stating, “This tour will be a ritual orgy of death, sex, violence and rock and fu**ing roll!! Let the severed heads rain, bouncing down the pyramid onto a heap of human skulls. Be there humans, or be left to suffer on this planet while we party in the stars!”

Recently, GWAR gained attention on social media following their provocative onstage antics, which included caricatures of political figures. This stirred reactions from MAGA supporters and prompted Blothar to defend the band’s artistic expressions. Additionally, an interview featuring Blothar was highlighted in an episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
