Goldie Hawn Shines in Glittering Gown at 2026 Oscars
Goldie Hawn made a striking entrance at the 2026 Oscars, donning a black gown adorned with delicate sparkles and intricate embroidery. The celebrated actress shared the spotlight on the red carpet with her daughter, Kate Hudson, who is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Song Sung Blue.
Hawn’s gown featured a fitted silhouette accented by tiny silver sparkles that shimmered against the fabric’s black backdrop. The design was highlighted by a sheer neckline embellished with silver embroidery, creating an elegant look. Completing her ensemble, Hawn sported her signature ’70s-style curtain bangs and a radiant makeup look.
“She’s the perfect date,” Hudson said of her mother before the event, adding, “We can have fun. It’ll be great.” Hudson herself turned heads in a custom jade green gown from Giorgio Armani Privé, accessorized with over 41 carats of rare green diamonds valued at $35 million.
Though Hawn’s partner, Kurt Russell, was reportedly present at the event, he opted not to walk the red carpet.
This evening marks Hudson’s second Oscar nomination, following her 2001 nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Almost Famous. Both she and Hawn are now two-time Oscar nominees, with Hawn having won Best Supporting Actress in 1970 for Cactus Flower and being nominated for Best Actress in 1981 for Private Benjamin.
The evening promises to celebrate not only the achievements of the film industry but also the special bond between this mother-daughter duo as they embrace a significant moment in their careers.
