Goldenvoice Announces Exciting New Head Trip Fest at Coachella with Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and More
Dance Megafest Head Trip Announced for October
Goldenvoice has unveiled plans for a unique dance music festival, Head Trip, set to take place on October 10-11 at the Coachella grounds in Indio, California. This event marks a continuation of the successful festival series that includes the classic rock-themed Desert Trip in 2016 and the heavy metal-centered Power Trip in 2023.
Head Trip promises an impressive lineup over two days, featuring prominent artists in the dance music scene. Saturday’s performances include Calvin Harris, Chris Lake, and Fisher as Under Construction, alongside Peggy Gou b2b with Four Tet, and Ben Sterling b2b with Seth Troxler. The following day sees sets from Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey.
In addition, an installation titled Sunflower Sound System, created by Floating Points, will enhance the festival experience. Inside a domed tent, this space will showcase paneling made from mycelium and artwork by DJ and artist Josephine Chime, featuring DJs both from Floating Points and special guests throughout the weekend.
All performances will be held on a single stage with no overlapping sets, maintaining the integrity of the lineup. Romain Pissenem, the founder and director of the creative production company High Scream, will design the main stage production.
Hotel packages designed for attendees aged 18 and older are currently available, starting at $2,150 for a two-night stay that includes general admission tickets for two people.
