Gold Blooded: A New Western Thriller Premiering on HighballTV and Multivisionnaire Pictures
Western Thriller ‘Gold Blooded’ Debuts at Content London
A new Western thriller film titled Gold Blooded, featuring actor Ari Millen from Orphan Black, is being showcased at Content London this week. The film is produced by HighballTV, a Canadian production company.
Directed by Matt Campagna and Andre Rehal, Gold Blooded follows two Marshals who capture an outlaw after a heist goes awry, leaving him distanced from his crew. The story intensifies as the outlaw must betray his accomplices, leading to a frantic race to recover stolen gold. Amid rising tensions, the loyalty between the Marshals falters, setting the stage for a violent showdown.
The film stars Millen alongside Maurice Dean Wint (Surreal Estate, Cube), Patrick Kwok Choon (Star Trek Discovery, Surreal Estate), and Damian Romeo (Ginny & Georgia, Wild Dogs). Additional cast members include Lara Zaluski (Fargo, Hell On Wheels), Justin Michael Carriere (The Expanse, Murdoch Mysteries), and Foad HP (Strangers in a Room, Wild Dogs).
Rehal and Foad HP penned the script for the film, while Johnathan Sharp serves as the producer. Multivisionnaire Pictures, based in Los Angeles, is handling U.S. and international sales at Content London, with plans to secure television and streaming agreements.
“This is a throwback spaghetti western with a cutting-edge sensibility and modern aesthetic, and we’re excited to share the film,” said Sean T. Haley, Managing Partner at Multivisionnaire.
Production on Gold Blooded has recently concluded, and post-production is set to begin this winter.
