Ghostbusters in Concert Kicks Off North American Tour in 2026
Fans of the iconic film series are in for a treat as the “Ghostbusters in Concert” returns for a new tour this fall. Originally launched in October 2018, this live concert experience combines the beloved movie with a live orchestra, creating a unique cinematic and symphonic event that appeals to both longtime followers and newcomers alike.
The production is an evolution of the “Ghostbusters Film with Live Orchestra,” which has captivated audiences globally, including performances at notable venues like the Royal Albert Hall in London. Featuring a large HD screen, the concert presents the film while a full orchestra plays the score live, enhancing pivotal scenes, including the exciting showdown with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. For this iteration, Schrimer Theatrical has collaborated with composer Peter M. Bernstein, son of the film’s legendary original composer Elmer Bernstein, to reconstruct the entire score.
The upcoming tour kicks off on September 18th in Spokane, Washington, and will traverse numerous cities, including Seattle, Las Vegas, New York, and Indianapolis, culminating with a Halloween performance in Clearwater, Florida. A total of 35 dates are scheduled for this engaging tour.
Tickets became available on April 3rd through Ticketmaster, and fans can also find options for sold-out shows on StubHub, which offers a 120% guarantee through its FanProtect program.
In anticipation of the concert experience, fans are encouraged to revisit the film that has been dubbed “the most aesthetically pleasing film of all time.”
