The Kansas City Chiefs are not only known for their prowess on the field but also for their roles as dedicated fathers.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has expressed that his family, including wife Brittany Mahomes and their three children, holds a special place in his heart, second only to his love for the game. Their youngest child was born in January 2025, and just weeks later, she made her football debut at the 2025 Super Bowl.
“I can’t wait to spend time with my kids,” said Mahomes during a press conference in February 2025. “Football season takes so much time away from those little memories… When I’m in the off-season, I try to spend as much time as I can with them and build those memories together.”
Mahomes is not alone in this commitment; kicker Harrison Butker also shares a passion for fatherhood, raising three children with his wife Isabelle. Linebacker Leo Chenal and his wife Randi are navigating parenthood with their two daughters, the youngest born earlier this year.
Here’s a closer look at the families of some key members of the Kansas City Chiefs.

After meeting in high school, Patrick and Brittany welcomed their first child, daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, on February 20, 2021. They married on March 12, 2022, and welcomed their second child, son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, later that year on November 28. Their family grew with the arrival of daughter Golden Raye Mahomes on January 12, 2025.
Despite his accolades, Mahomes emphasizes that he doesn’t expect his children to follow his path in football. “I’m going to teach my son, my daughter, all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn. But I want to let it be about them,” he shared in October 2022. “My dad didn’t pressure me, and that’s why I’m in the position I am today.”
