“I love the fun of being a parent,” Bert remarked during a 2015 appearance on The Church of What’s Happening Now podcast. His daughters have been a recurring theme in his comedy, including references in his upcoming Netflix special, Burt Kreischer: Lucky, where he expressed doubts about their pursuing careers in comedy: “They’ve seen how the sausage is made,” he said, explaining the challenges of the profession.
On January 22, Kreischer launched his new Netflix series, Free Bert, which centers on a father striving to find his place in a wealthy community as his daughters tackle life changes with their new private school.

Bert and LeeAnn welcomed their first child, Georgia Mae Kreischer, on June 8, 2004. Just three days later, Bert returned to the comedy circuit and credits his wife with raising Georgia during his absences. “LeeAnn did everything,” he recalled on a 2022 episode of Bertcast.
Despite his busy schedule, Bert aimed to be active in Georgia’s upbringing, teaching her to ride a bike and swim. “She’s a big reader and an honors student with no drama,” Bert remarked fondly, referring to her qualities on The Church of What’s Happening Now.
Athletic and academically inclined, Georgia played softball during high school and maintained a high batting average until she stepped back from the sport amid the pandemic. After graduating in 2022, she enrolled in college out of state. In anticipation of this new chapter, the family took a trip to Italy that summer, culminating in a poignant moment when they dropped Georgia off at school.
“I held it together until she was out of the car, and then all hell broke loose,” Bert shared, alongside a photo capturing his emotional reaction on Facebook.
In celebration of Georgia’s 19th birthday in 2023, LeeAnn posted a tribute on Instagram, highlighting her daughter as a “water baby,” “softball queen,” and “lovely person.” Bert echoed these sentiments on her 18th birthday, declaring, “Always remember, no one will ever love you as much as I love you!!!!”
Georgia has made appearances on both her father’s podcast and her mother’s show, Wife of the Party. Discussing her father’s storytelling prowess, she expressed a passion for narrating stories herself.
Additionally, Georgia joined Bert onstage during his 2023 Fully Loaded Tour and has visited him on set for shows like Trip Flip.

Bert and LeeAnn welcomed their second daughter, Ila Grace Kreischer, on July 18, 2006. During a discussion on the Skinny Confidential podcast, LeeAnn revealed that Ila’s middle name holds a special meaning. Ila has enjoyed sports like tennis and softball and has begun training in Jiu-Jitsu.
As Ila prepares to commence college in 2024, Bert proudly shared on Instagram that she had been accepted into every college she applied to, expressing his immense pride in her achievements.
Describing Ila’s unique perspective, Bert previously noted on The Church of What’s Happening Now that she has dyslexia, stating, “Her brain just sees the world differently, and she’s so funny.”
In 2019, he elaborated on her resilience, noting that she can “take adversity on the chin and deal with it.”
Ila has also featured in her father’s comedy routines. In his 2020 Netflix special, Hey Big Boy, Bert recounted a humorous story about helping Ila prepare for her first period, a memory she playfully named "Jason" due to its occurrence on Friday the 13th. Bert remarked, “That kid’s a gold mine for material.”
Reflecting on their parenting journey, LeeAnn expressed her feelings of gratitude for Ila during a November 2022 episode of Wife of the Party, stating, “You’ve been a really good teenager so far… like maybe Dad and I did an okay job on raising you to this point.”
