Hit-and-Run Suspect Flees After Crashing into Dentist’s Office in Montrose

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. – A man reportedly fleeing from federal agents crashed into a dentist’s office sign in Montrose on Thursday morning, prompting an active search for him.

The incident occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. as the suspect exited the 210 Freeway. According to witnesses, he smashed into the sign located on Ocean View Boulevard before abandoning his vehicle and fleeing the scene on foot. Authorities described the driver as still at large.

Footage from SkyFOX captured California Highway Patrol officers and agents from the Department of Homeland Security responding to the crash. As the scene unfolded, the damaged vehicle was in the process of being towed away.

While the pursuit raised questions, authorities have not disclosed the reason the suspect was being chased by federal agents. His current whereabouts remain unknown.
