Firefighters Contain Blaze at Baldwin Park Commercial Building
A second-alarm fire at a laundry facility in a Baldwin Park strip mall caused significant damage to two neighboring businesses. While the laundry itself remained mostly unscathed, a Mexican restaurant and a flower shop experienced extensive destruction.
The blaze broke out at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 12000 block of Ramona Park. Responding swiftly, the Los Angeles County Fire Department managed to contain the flames by approximately 2 a.m. According to Captain Daniel Dantic of the LAFD, the cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
