Fire Erupts at Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital, Prompting Evacuation
LOS ANGELES – A fire broke out late Monday morning in the emergency department of Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital in Boyle Heights, necessitating the evacuation of patients and their transport to other facilities.
Fire officials from the Montebello Fire Department confirmed that crews successfully extinguished the blaze. However, the emergency response led police to close Beverly Boulevard and surrounding streets to facilitate the safe transfer of patients.
