Wedding preparations are in full swing for Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski. The couple is actively planning their upcoming nuptials after getting engaged on September 22, 2025.
In her latest vlog posted on January 3, Sulewski provided an update on their wedding plans, expressing enthusiasm as she and her team outlined a “game plan” centered on selecting outfits for the ceremony. “We have got a wedding to plan,” Sulewski stated. “My stylist, Thomas, and I have a game plan. We have our list of brands that we’re going to reach out to for custom bridal looks. I want to visit showrooms and stores in person to see what silhouette I prefer.”

A segment from Sulewski’s first bridal appointment indicated that she loved the first dress she tried. In addition to exploring attire, she plans to collaborate closely with their newly hired wedding planner. “We Zoomed with a couple of wedding planners and picked one out,” Sulewski shared. “We’re going to start officially wedding planning and venue searching at the start of the new year in January.”

While emphasizing that she does not want to become a “bridezilla,” Sulewski is taking an active role in the planning process. “As you can imagine, yes, I have PDFs, table inspo, florals, seating for the ceremony,” she noted. “I think I will broadly be a Type B bride because I’m very chill. I’m not stressed about the timing or what weekend it lands on. There are many aspects I’m excited to go with the flow about and let the wedding plan itself.”
She added, “I do spend hours online pulling inspiration and creating graphics. But that’s just me being excited. I don’t feel like I’m going to be a bridezilla. This is just going to be fun and filled with love.”
O’Connell, known for his collaborations with Billie Eilish, is more involved in the planning than Sulewski expected. “Finneas has had more input than I think he thought he would have,” she shared. “I’ve been surprised by how many opinions my fiancé has, and I love it because I want him to feel ownership of this special day for us.”
The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on September 24, 2025, just two days after O’Connell proposed. Sulewski captioned the post “forever and ever 9.22,” marking the beginning of their wedding journey.
