Season 2 of Paradise Set for Release
The highly anticipated second season of the post-apocalyptic drama Paradise is returning on February 23, featuring a talented cast that includes Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, and newcomers Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty. The new season arrives just over a year after the first season premiered in January 2025.
Returning to the ensemble cast are Sara Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, and Krys Marshall, among others. The series is created, executive produced, and showrun by Dan Fogelman, with Brown also serving as an executive producer.
What’s Ahead for Season 2?
Paradise Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, matching the episode count from the first season. The premiere will showcase the first three episodes, releasing weekly thereafter. The schedule for the rollout is as follows:

Plot Overview
The second season picks up three years after "The Day," the cataclysmic event that changed life as humanity knew it. Xavier, portrayed by Brown, embarks on a desperate journey to locate his wife, Dr. Teri Rodgers-Collins, while navigating a world where survival strategies have diversified. The season promises to unveil further secrets regarding the city’s origins and explores the social dynamics within the bunker as it grapples with the consequences of events from the previous season.
Returning and New Faces
In addition to the returning cast, which includes Brown, Nicholson, Shahi, Bloom, and Marshall, viewers will also see Percy Daggs IV, who will be playing Ampert, the son of Beetee Latier in the upcoming Hunger Games: The Sunrise on the Reaping (2026). Aliyah Mastin will portray Xavier’s children, James and Presley Collins, while Woodley takes on the role of Annie Clay, and Doherty plays a recurring character named Link.
