The recent debut of L’Oréal Paris’s Colorsonic Hair Color Device has caught the attention of various celebrities, with actress Eva Longoria describing it as "life-changing." Unveiled during the 2023 CES Tech Conference, the device addresses a common concern: the frequent need for hair color appointments.
Currently featured in Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, the Colorsonic is available at a 35% discount, now priced at just under $100. Longoria praised the product during its introduction, stating, “It is life-changing, game-changing, all of it.”
In her demonstration, she highlighted the device’s functionality, noting, “The color mixes itself, and all I have to do is brush it on; it is so easy.” This tool caters to a range of coloring needs, from full applications to quick touch-ups for roots. Longoria emphasized her preference for at-home coloring, saying, “It’s not lockdown anymore, but I still color my hair at home.”
The Colorsonic boasts bristles that reach 20,000 strands per minute, allowing users to apply permanent hair dye “as easy as brushing your hair,” according to L’Oréal. The brand features 16 different color cartridges, all currently on sale.
Longoria is not the only celebrity to endorse the Colorsonic. Bethenny Frankel has also expressed her enthusiasm for the device. In an Instagram video, she showcased its capability, exclaiming that it delivers salon-quality results in the convenience of one’s home. “Once you get the hang of this, you’re good for life,” she praised.
