HBO Announces Premiere Date for “Euphoria” Season 3
HBO has officially announced that the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria will premiere on Sunday, April 12, from 9 to 10 p.m. New episodes will be released weekly on Sunday nights.
A preview of the upcoming season can be seen in the recently released trailer, marking the return of the critically acclaimed series created by Sam Levinson. This eight-episode season will feature a significant time jump, taking characters beyond their high school years. The narrative will explore themes of faith, redemption, and the nature of evil as it follows a group of childhood friends navigating life’s challenges.
Returning cast members include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace. Additionally, guest stars such as Colman Domingo, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Alanna Ubach will reprise their roles.
The season will also introduce several notable guest stars, including Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, and Natasha Lyonne, among others.

The production of Season 3 wrapped up in November in Los Angeles, with financial support from a $19.4 million tax credit from California. This season comes four years after the conclusion of Season 2, which attracted a viewership high of 6.6 million.
Colman Domingo hinted at the depth of the upcoming season, stating, “We’re gonna have a devastatingly gorgeous, epic season that I think is breaking the mold of television. I think it’s gonna become more cinema than television.” He also mentioned that his character, Ali Muhammed, will undergo significant development, further exploring his backstory.
Season 3 is notable for its use of new Kodak motion picture film stock in both 35mm and 65mm formats. This innovative approach will enhance the visual storytelling, reflecting the characters’ transition into adulthood.
Created, written, and directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria has established itself as a landmark series in contemporary television, drawing on themes from its Israeli predecessor.
