Eugene Mirman from ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Injured in Car Accident in New Hampshire
Eugene Mirman, the voice actor known for his role in Bob’s Burgers and a veteran of Flight of the Conchords, has been hospitalized following a serious car accident. Mirman sustained significant injuries after his vehicle was involved in a fiery crash in Bedford, New Hampshire.
The incident occurred shortly before noon on Tuesday, when Mirman crashed his 2026 Lucid Gravity into the Bedford Toll Plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike. Eyewitnesses report that the car caught fire, with Mirman trapped inside.
Authorities have stated that no charges have been filed, and the single-car accident is currently under investigation.
Among the bystanders who rushed to his aid were New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte and a veteran state trooper assigned to her detail. Both helped pull Mirman to safety through the car window.
Colonel Mark B. Hall praised their bravery, stating, “Certainly, their actions were heroic in what they did. Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it.”
Mirman has been the voice of Gene Belcher, the musically inclined middle child, on Fox’s Bob’s Burgers since its debut in 2011. He also portrayed Eugene in Flight of the Conchords during its run on HBO from 2007 to 2009.
