Eric Stonestreet Signs with Gersh for Representation
In a notable move within the entertainment industry, two-time Emmy Award winner Eric Stonestreet has signed with Gersh for representation. Best known for his iconic role as Cameron Tucker on ABC’s Modern Family, Stonestreet’s decision comes amid a competitive landscape.
Stonestreet portrayed the beloved character throughout all eleven seasons of Modern Family. His performance garnered him two Primetime Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe nominations, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Recently, Stonestreet appeared in a recurring role on Paramount+’s Dexter: Resurrection and is in negotiations to return for the anticipated second season. He will also be featured in an upcoming episode of NBC’s Happy Place. His recent credits include NBC’s American Auto and Disney+’s The Santa Clauses, where he played Magnus Antas, also known as the "Mad Santa," earning his first Children’s & Family Emmy Award nomination. Over the years, Stonestreet has guest-starred in numerous notable series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The West Wing, E.R., Spin City, Malcolm in the Middle, Nip/Tuck, Monk, Bones, and American Horror Story.
On the film front, Stonestreet lent his voice to the character Duke in Illumination’s animated successes The Secret Life of Pets and The Secret Life of Pets 2. His other film credits include Identity Thief, Almost Famous, Bad Teacher, and The Loft. He is set to reprise his voice role of Minimus in the upcoming animated sequel series Sofia The First: Royal Magic.
In addition to his roles in series and films, Stonestreet has stepped into the spotlight as the host of the Fox reality competition series Domino Masters and ABC’s toy competition series The Toy Box. He has also appeared as a guest judge on America’s Got Talent.
