ENHYPEN’s Weekly ‘EN-O CLOCK’ Broadcast Paused After Heeseung’s Departure: A Promise to Return

ENHYPEN has announced a temporary hiatus for their weekly YouTube series, “EN-O CLOCK,” following the recent departure of member HEESEUNG. The announcement came from their label, BELIFT LAB, on Thursday, March 12, the same day a new episode was scheduled for release.
“The ‘EN-O CLOCK’ series, which was scheduled to be released every Thursday, will be taking a short break,” BELIFT LAB stated in a post on X. “We will return with even better content in April. We ask for your kind understanding.”
Billboard has reached out to BELIFT for further details regarding the series pause.
This news follows the recent announcement from HYBE, ENHYPEN’s parent company, stating that HEESEUNG would leave the group to focus on his solo career. The decision was made after “extensive deliberation” and discussions with the members. Fans reacted strongly to the news, expressing a mix of sadness and confusion; a petition opposing the lineup change has garnered over 1 million signatures.
In response to inquiries about why HEESEUNG could not pursue solo activities while remaining in the band—a model some other K-pop groups have successfully adopted—BELIFT explained, “We concluded that allowing HEESEUNG to focus fully on his career as a solo artist, rather than pursuing solo activities within the team, would be the most fulfilling approach for both ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG.”
Moving forward, HEESEUNG will remain under the same label while working on his solo music. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will continue as a boy band with its six remaining members: SUNGHOON, JUNGWON, SUNOO, JAY, JAKE, and NI-KI. Two members recently appeared on Australia’s The Morning Show for their first interview since HEESEUNG’s departure, a topic they opted not to discuss.
During the interview, JAKE mentioned the group has been undergoing extensive rehearsals in preparation for their upcoming performance at the Hello Melbourne festival. “There’s been a bit of changes in the choreo with the formation, all that,” he said. “So we’ve been practicing a lot.”
