In a recent episode of Owen Thiele’s podcast *In Your Dreams*, Emma Chamberlain opened up about her dating experiences, notably her attraction to musicians. Over the last five years, Chamberlain has been linked to singer-songwriters Role Model, born Tucker Pillsbury, and Peter McPoland.

During the November 28 episode titled “I got stuffed with Emma Chamberlain,” Thiele posed a direct question: “Why do you keep dating musicians?” Chamberlain responded playfully, “Can I answer this with a quote?” Citing Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Manchild,” she said, “I swear they choose me. I’m not choosing them,” further adding, “And I choose them a little too.”

Chamberlain noted she has never initiated contact with musicians, claiming, “I have never slid into the DM of a musician. Only ever has the music man slid in to mine.” She further explained that every encounter with musicians has started with them approaching her first.

When Thiele suggested that her attraction might stem from their talent on stage, Chamberlain expressed uncertainty, stating, “You know what’s weird? Like that does do a little something, but that’s not like the root of it. I kind of can’t figure out what it is.” She elaborated that her attraction could be coincidental, mentioning her previous relationship with Pillsbury, “The first time, that was random. It was random that he made music. Like that was irrelevant. I didn’t care about that.”

Chamberlain recounted a second encounter where she initially did not know the individual was a musician, expressing later surprise at the coincidence. “I found out later after I met them… and I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re doing this again,'” she laughed. Discussing the numerous songs about her, Chamberlain called it an illuminating experience, stating, “I learned about my own relationship through the music.” She found it insightful yet somewhat unsettling to discover feelings expressed through music that were not openly discussed in their relationship.

Recently, the 24-year-old influencer confirmed her single status on an episode of her podcast *Anything Goes*. Previously, she had been romantically linked to musician Peter McPoland after they were spotted together during the 2024 Paris Olympics and wore matching Halloween costumes. In the November 13 podcast episode, Chamberlain shared details about her breakup, saying, “I’m going through a breakup right now” after a “serious relationship that was two years long,” adding, “We really deeply loved each other.”
