Emily Curl Joins Entertainment Tonight as New Correspondent
Emily Curl has been appointed as a New York-based correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, starting today, March 9. This addition marks a new chapter for the syndicated entertainment newsmagazine.
Curl will join the ET on-air team, which is led by co-hosts Nischelle Turner and Kevin Frazier, alongside correspondents Denny Directo and Cassie DiLaura.
An accomplished host and entertainment reporter, Curl has extensive experience covering top talent in film, television, and music. Before her role at Entertainment Tonight, she served as Digital Host at iHeartRadio, where she interviewed prominent global artists such as Celine Dion and Shakira, as well as rising stars like Doechii and Tate McRae.
Curl’s previous experience also includes work as a correspondent for E! News, where she reported on major industry events including the Time 100 Gala, the Tony Awards, and the VMAs. Throughout her career, she has interviewed many leading figures such as Jennifer Aniston, Hugh Jackman, and Scarlett Johansson.
Launching her career at Refinery29, Curl has moderated panels, emceed live events, and collaborated with renowned brands including Chanel and Maybelline. A native of Georgia and a graduate of the University of Georgia, she has received recognition as one of Georgia’s 40 Under 40 for her professional achievements.
Now in its 45th season, Entertainment Tonight attracts an average of 2.86 million viewers, maintaining its position as the top syndicated entertainment news show on television with nine Emmy wins. The program is produced and distributed by CBS Media Ventures, with Erin Johnson as executive producer and Whitney Wallace and Leslie Kawaguchi serving as co-executive producers.
