Donna D’Errico Explores Area 51 and Sasquatch Territory in New YouTube Series Mythbound
EXCLUSIVE: Donna D’Errico, known for her role on Baywatch, is taking the lead as host and executive producer of the new mystery travel series Mythbound, now available for streaming on YouTube.
The series features D’Errico exploring various locations worldwide, delving into some of the most renowned myths, legends, and mysteries, with her at the forefront of each investigation.
Season 1 kicks off with D’Errico teaming up with investigator Kenny Collins to search for Sasquatch in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Future episodes will take her to Lake Champlain to hunt for the elusive lake monster “Champ,” collaborate with researcher Katy Elizabeth at Area 51 and the Roswell UFO crash site, investigate paranormal claims at the Stanley Hotel in Colorado, venture into California’s Gold Country in pursuit of a fabled lost mine, and examine the mysterious Miraculous Staircase at Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Plans for future international episodes include investigations in Peru regarding alleged mummified extraterrestrial remains and the Nazca Lines, expeditions into the Congo for a legendary creature believed to be a living dinosaur, and explorations related to Mount Ararat in the search for Noah’s Ark, as well as sites associated with the Ark of the Covenant.
Throughout this captivating series, which will release new episodes weekly, D’Errico will be accompanied by local experts and “unexpected guests” who assist in guiding each inquiry.
Driven by her prominent role in the original Baywatch, D’Errico has appeared in films including Candyman 3: Day of the Dead and Kiss The Bride. More recently, she starred in Frank and Penelope and Survive the Game.
Reflecting on her journey, D’Errico stated, “After 30 years in this industry, I’ve spent most of my career working in a world that’s built for you, where everything is structured, controlled, and designed to tell a story. With Mythbound, I get to step into something completely different. It’s taking me to real places, following questions that have been around for centuries, and experiencing them firsthand instead of just hearing about them. There’s something about standing in those places and talking to people who truly believe in what they’ve seen that changes your perspective. The more I experience, the more I realize how much we still don’t know. And that’s what makes this so compelling to me. It feels like I’m just beginning to scratch the surface of something much bigger.”
Series director Ryan Walker added, “Donna is the perfect person to bring Mythbound to life. She genuinely loves these stories, and that comes through in every episode. There really hasn’t been anything like this on YouTube, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience the legends we uncover each week.”
D’Errico is represented by Advanced Management and Smith Young Talent Agency.
