Dodgers to Celebrate with World Series Ring Ceremony Before Friday Night Game
Los Angeles Dodgers to Receive 2025 World Series Rings Ahead of Game Against Arizona
The Los Angeles Dodgers will celebrate their 2025 World Series championship with a ring ceremony on Friday night, prior to their game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium.
The ceremony, set to begin at 6:20 p.m., will feature actor Anthony Anderson as the narrator. Additionally, the USC marching band is scheduled to perform as part of the pre-game festivities. Following the ceremony, renowned country artist Brad Paisley will sing the national anthem just before the first pitch at 7:10 p.m.
The Dodgers opened their season with an impressive 8-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Thursday evening. Manager Dave Roberts lauded the effort, highlighting six strong innings from pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto and significant support from players including Andy Pages and Will Smith.
Details surrounding the design of the 2026 World Series rings have not yet been disclosed. However, the 2025 rings, which are gold adorned with blue stones, are personalized for each player. Notably, the rings feature eight diamonds representing the Dodgers’ championships and reveal an engraving of the World Series trophy over the iconic Dodger Stadium. Inside the ring, there are 34 stones in tribute to the late pitching legend Fernando Valenzuela.
The probable pitchers for Friday’s matchup are Ryne Nelson for the Diamondbacks and Emmet Sheehan for the Dodgers. Following this series, the Dodgers will conclude their opening weekend against Arizona on Saturday, where fans will receive a special "Game 7 Home Run" bobblehead featuring Will Smith, who contributed a two-run homer in Thursday’s win.
