Demi Lovato Reveals Must-Have Items for Upcoming Tour
As Demi Lovato prepares for her highly anticipated It’s Not That Deep Tour, which kicks off on April 13 in Orlando, Florida, the singer-songwriter shares a glimpse into her essential travel items. In an interview featured in the latest issue of Us Weekly, Lovato humorously describes her tour bag as a treasure trove of necessities.
“If someone were to peek inside my bag, they would think that I am ‘Mama Demi,’” Lovato quips, adding, “I have everything you need, whether it’s a snack or extra earplugs for the plane. I fit a lot in my little bag.”
Currently, she carries a multipocket bucket bag from Acne Studios, which she frequently changes up. Among her staple items is mouthwash, specifically TheraBreath. “When your breath feels fresh, you feel more open, more like yourself, and you know you’re ready to take on anything. It gives you that confidence that you need to do what you need to do,” she explains.

In addition to her essentials, Lovato also carries protective crystals. “Sometimes I keep a crystal just for protection from negative energy. That’s my travel go-to,” she says, noting the sentimental value of those given to her by her husband.
For quick energy boosts, Lovato insists on having snacks on hand, particularly RXBars. “Having a snack on me is really important to sustain my energy, especially while I’m on the road,” she notes.

In terms of beauty, Lovato prefers low-maintenance makeup. “I opt for Laneige lip balm to give me a non-sticky glow,” she shares.
Her travel kit also includes essential over-the-counter items like Advil and hand sanitizer. “Advil is essential,” she affirms. "That’s really important. I never want to get sick.”

To capture memories on the road, Lovato always carries her digital camera, a gift she received last Christmas. “I love taking pictures on it,” she says.
