Composer of ‘Fairly OddParents’ Guy Moon passes away in tragic car accident in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES – Renowned music composer Guy Moon, celebrated for his work on "The Fairly OddParents" theme song, tragically lost his life in a car accident. Moon’s family shared the news on his public Facebook page, announcing his passing on Thursday, January 8.
According to reports from TMZ, the accident occurred in Los Angeles.
In a heartfelt statement released via social media, Moon’s family expressed their profound sorrow: “We are overcome with grief to announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Guy Moon. He was killed on Thursday morning in a traffic collision. We feel singularly blessed to have been able to call him dad and husband. As we stand together at the base of what seems to be an insurmountable grief, we are emboldened to grieve him with honor and courage with the tools that he equipped us with in his beautiful life. He has left an unmistakable legacy, and will be profoundly missed by us, his family, and countless others whose lives he impacted.”
The family is tentatively planning to honor Moon’s life on February 7, his birthday, in the Los Angeles area, as well as in his hometown in Wisconsin at a later date. They will share additional details as plans develop.
