Comedian Zach Noe Towers Announces Premiere Date for His First Special ‘Twink Death’ with Bob The Drag Queen as Executive Producer
Comedian Zach Noe Towers to Premiere Debut Special “Twink Death” on YouTube
Comedian Zach Noe Towers will debut his first special, Twink Death, on YouTube on April 24. Produced by Bob the Drag Queen’s Purse First Studios and filmed at the Westside Comedy Theatre in Santa Monica, the special explores Towers’ experience growing up in a religious Midwestern environment, his complex relationship with sobriety and medication, and his perspective on marriage.
Towers took charge of writing, performing, and directing the special, which will be released collaboratively on his YouTube channel with Purse First Studios. The project also features executive production from Towers and Bob the Drag Queen, alongside producers Joey Von Haeger and Alex Goodman.
“It feels like this special has been growing inside of me for years, and I’m so thankful to have finally given birth to it. To have a great friend like Bob the Drag Queen help deliver it has made this experience all the more special,” Towers remarked. “Now it’s time to introduce my baby to the world and hope the world loves it as much as I do.”
Originally from St. Louis and now residing in Los Angeles, Towers entered the comedy scene in 2018 after being named a New Face of Comedy at Just for Laughs Montreal. He has recently appeared in Cooper Raiff’s Hal & Harper on Mubi and in the third season of Netflix’s Dear White People. In addition to his comedy work, he has hosted E!’s series Nightly Pop and Dating #NoFilter.
Towers also recently hosted the sex-based SiriusXM show After Hours with Zach Noe Towers and currently leads a weekly podcast titled Good Sod Pod, which discusses topics related to sex. He holds a BA in Musical Theatre from Indiana University and has been touring as the opening act for comedians Taylor Tomlinson and Fortune Feimster. Towers is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Independent Artist Group, and Knol Hanly.
