Chyler Leigh Shares Her Love for K-Beauty and Must-Have $9 Drugstore Wipes on Set
Chyler Leigh Returns for Fourth Season of Hallmark’s The Way Home
Chyler Leigh, known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Supergirl, is back in the spotlight as she anchors Hallmark’s popular series The Way Home, now entering its fourth season. Balancing her on-screen responsibilities with her life as a mother of three, Leigh navigates her busy schedule between a Toronto filming set and her home in Nashville.
Reflecting on the differences between her on-screen life and reality, Leigh shared, “The most significant difference between my real life and work would have to be playing Alex Danvers on Supergirl. Her superhero persona involved a makeup mask—not a physical one. So, I think it’s safe to say Alex would have a lot more cleaning to do once she got home, unlike Lexie Grey!”
Leigh also revealed her go-to beauty products that help her unwind after a long day on set. “I rely on Farmacy Cleansing Balm ($39) and hot towels at the end of the day, along with incense in the trailer during cleanup, a portable battery charger, and my ChapStick,” she noted.
To maintain her signature curly hairstyle, Leigh emphasizes the importance of hydration. “I’ve discovered one of the most effective techniques for maintaining my hair’s moisture and achieving the signature Kat Landry curls is using Davines Curl Shampoo ($37) and Conditioner ($42).”
Her skincare routine features several must-have products. “COSRX Snail Mucin ($25), primer, and peptide eye cream are my dream products. I also love a moisturizer and night serum by OSEA.”
For quick clean-up after filming, Leigh turns to Aveeno makeup removing wipes ($9). “They are a must when I am filming. I love them as a quick solution to clean up after a long day on set,” she explained.
Leigh has also embraced Korean skincare, stating, “I’ve become quite enamored with Korean skin care. I’ve learned so much and gained beautiful skin from it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to transform their complexion.”
As The Way Home continues to resonate with audiences, Leigh’s multifaceted talent and relatable insights into her personal life off-screen only enhance her connection with fans.
