Chris Pratt and Anna Faris shared a rare public reunion on Thanksgiving Day at a blended family gathering. In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the former couple, who divorced in 2017 after eight years of marriage, was seen embracing following Faris’s drop-off of their son, Jack, 13, who volunteered with his father at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California.
Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, Pratt’s wife, was also present at the charity event. The couple shares three children: daughters Lyla, 5, and Eloise, 3, and son Ford, 1.
Later in the day, Pratt shared several family photos on his Instagram account, captioning the post simply as “Thankful.”
This reunion comes after a previous public appearance by Pratt and Faris at Jack’s sixth-grade graduation ceremony in June. In a 2022 interview, Faris expressed her appreciation for the evolving relationship among the blended family, saying, “They’re very protective of me, and I want to be very protective of them. I so appreciate their support.”

In separate comments, Faris praised Schwarzenegger Pratt, referring to her as “awesome” and expressing admiration for how she interacts with Jack. “She’s just on top of it,” Faris noted.
Earlier this month, Schwarzenegger Pratt spoke about their parenting approach, emphasizing their commitment to communication as essential in their growing family. “We do a really good job communicating,” she said. “It’s something that was really important to both of us from the beginning and continues to be crucial as life gets busier.” She added that she and Pratt, who married in 2019, “balance each other out really well” as parents.
Describing her experience as a stepmother, Schwarzenegger Pratt remarked, “I continue to learn so much in this role. Just like parenting, you learn something new every single day.”
