Chris Bremner Brings Action-Comedy Film ‘Ram’ to Netflix
New Project in Development: Action-Comedy with Sci-Fi Elements
Details remain scarce on an upcoming project described as an action-comedy infused with science fiction elements. The film will be produced by Unknown Quantity, led by writer-producer Andrew Bremner, in collaboration with Rideback.
Bremner has solidified a deal with Sony to write and produce films under his Unknown Quantity banner. His previous work includes the third and fourth installments of the Bad Boys franchise, Bad Boys for Life and Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which collectively grossed over $837 million globally. He is also in the early stages of developing a new Men in Black movie for Sony and is set to write a third installment of the National Treasure series for Disney.
Bremner launched his Hollywood career with Blackfriars, a comedy script that made the Black List in 2015. He has recently initiated projects at Sony, including Permission by Dan Roe and You Up by Gabe Delahaye, both stemming from pitches he developed. His past work includes scripting a reboot of The Pink Panther for Amazon MGM and an untitled film for Universal based on one of their franchises. Most recently, he arranged for Christopher William Young’s R-rated comedy spec White Knight at Screen Gems.
Bremner and his production company, Unknown Quantity, are represented by WME, Kaplan/Perrone, and JSSK.
