Chappell Roan Shines at Paris Fashion Week with Bold Looks
Paris Fashion Week was marked by the striking presence of Chappell Roan, who captivated audiences with her audacious fashion choices during two high-profile shows.
On March 8, Roan featured prominently at the Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2026 show, donning a daring, sheer black gown that epitomized gothic elegance. The gown, adorned with an embellished collar and sculpted mesh panels, flowed elegantly to the floor. Roan’s signature flame-red curls cascaded down her back, complemented by bold eyeliner and a mauve lip. She accessorized with a dramatic bejeweled choker and eye-catching drop earrings.
Earlier, on March 7, Roan showcased another stunning ensemble styled by Genesis Webb at the Vivienne Westwood show. This look featured a structured gray jacket with exaggerated shoulders and an embellished bodice, paired with a long skirt that revealed a backless cutaway, showcasing her lacy thong. Her makeup artist, Andrew Dahling, opted for a soft purple cut crease and bright pink blush, enhancing her Victorian-era aesthetic.

Roan, known for her chart-topping hits, has consistently pushed the envelope with her fashion choices. Her recent appearance at the 2026 Grammy Awards on February 1, where she donned a custom sheer gown from Mugler, further proved her bold style.
In an interview, her makeup artist, Sasha Glasser, shared insights into creating Roan’s Grammy look, which featured fake tattoos and prosthetic piercings. “We decided on the look the night before, so I had to print the designs out at Staples 30 minutes before the store closed,” Glasser explained. He highlighted the challenges of crafting such intricate designs on short notice, illustrating the team’s dedication and skill.
