Chappell Roan Dazzles in Silver Lashes as MAC’s New Global Brand Ambassador
Chappell Roan, the acclaimed pop sensation, has been appointed the newest global brand ambassador for MAC Cosmetics, showcasing her striking aesthetic in campaign images filled with vibrant colors and bold designs. At 27, Roan embodies the spirit of her “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl” lyrics through her campaign visuals, marked by silver lashes and alabaster skin.
In a statement, Roan expressed her excitement about the partnership, describing it as a “full-circle” moment in her career. “This brand has always made space for people like me; since day one they’ve embraced art, queerness, drag, and self-expression,” she remarked.
Roan’s debut campaign was photographed by the renowned duo Inez and Vinoodh. The striking imagery showcases the artist wearing custom frosted-tip lashes created by makeup artist Andrew Dahling. Her theatrical look features stark white makeup, dramatic eyeliner, and her signature red curls, which enhance the dramatic intensity of the visuals.
Roan is set to become a prominent figure in MAC’s campaigns worldwide starting in 2026, where the brand has promised “exclusive surprises and bold creative moments.” For more than a year, she has been collaborating with MAC, utilizing their products for some of her most memorable appearances, including her transformation at the 2024 VMAs and her impactful looks at the Grammys.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in Roan’s career, particularly following her rise to fame after the release of her debut album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” in 2023. After being dropped by Atlantic Records, she made a remarkable comeback, winning Best New Artist at both the 2024 VMAs and 2025 Grammys.
“Chappell represents a generation that values authenticity, queer joy, and fearless self-expression,” said MAC’s global creative director Nicola Formichetti. He commended her commitment to her community and her alignment with MAC’s mission of inclusivity. “Welcome to the MAC family, Chappell; you really are the favorite artist’s favorite artist,” he added.
Currently, Roan is working on her second studio album, though she acknowledged that fans will need to be patient, as it took her five years to produce her debut album. “It’s probably going to take at least five to write the next,” she stated in a recent interview.
