Chappell Roan Brings a Timeless Fashion Trend Back to Life at Paris Fashion Week
Chappell Roan Stuns at Paris Fashion Week with an Ethereal Ensemble
Singer Chappell Roan made a striking entrance at the Rick Owens show during Paris Fashion Week on March 5, captivating attendees with an outfit that evoked the elegance of a warrior princess.
Roan donned a muted lavender gown reminiscent of ancient styles, featuring a unique wrapped bodice and a flowing loincloth skirt. Adding to her ethereal appearance, she accessorized the vintage-inspired dress with gold gladiator sandals and an array of delicate bangles. Her glamorous high ponytail, adorned with intricate braids, complemented the voluminous waves of her hair. A soft, lavender eyeshadow and pale foundation enhanced her look, particularly as she sported striking gray contact lenses.
"I đź’ś Paris," Roan shared on Instagram, alongside a photo showcasing her eye-catching attire. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to attend the Rick Owens show, stating, "This look is so special."
While Roan’s ensemble featured styles reminiscent of 4,400 BC, her stylist, Genesis Webb, confirmed that the dress was actually from Rick Owens’ Spring/Summer 2017 collection. The shoes were sourced from a 2013 lineup. Webb thanked Owens and his team for unearthing the pieces from their archives, posting, "I’ve been dreaming of this look for months."
A Heightened Fashion Statement
Roan’s appearance at the Rick Owens show is one of many memorable looks she has showcased throughout Paris Fashion Week. On March 4, she delivered another standout performance in a gray lace corset dress while attending the Acne show, accompanied by a faux curly bob hairstyle. She also impressed at Mugler, where she wore a nude corset dress paired with a retro victory curl updo.

As the fashion world continues to buzz around her looks, Chappell Roan has undoubtedly made her mark on this season’s Paris Fashion Week, blending historical influences with modern aesthetics.
