She described the event as initially alluring, only to reveal the reality of crowded conditions and intense heat. “It’s so hot and it’s so crowded and everyone’s pushing you,” she explained.
Paltrow further conveyed her frustration, stating that the event was “so un-fun,” “boiling,” and “too crowded,” ultimately asserting, “I did not enjoy it at all.” Although she proclaimed, “I’m never going again,” she made a return to the Met Gala in 2017 and 2019, highlighting a complex relationship with the event.
