Carnival Cruise Line Introduces 1-Hour ‘Express Dining’ on 15 Ships, Including Long Beach Services
Carnival Cruise Line Introduces Express Dining for Faster Onboard Meals
Carnival Cruise Line has launched a new dining option aimed at enhancing the guest experience across 15 of its ships, including three operating out of Long Beach. This initiative, known as "Express Dining," promises a full multi-course dinner experience in under an hour for groups of six or fewer guests in the main dining rooms.
The Express Dining program provides a freshly prepared menu designed to streamline service while maintaining the quality of the offerings. According to a company press release, the menu retains signature dishes, albeit with a “slightly abbreviated selection.” Guests can look forward to favorites like filet mignon, grilled lamb chops, and Chocolate Melting Cake, with special dietary requests also being accommodated.
Carnival Cruise Line president Christine Duffy highlighted the aim of this new service: to provide guests with more flexibility and the opportunity to engage in other onboard activities. The dining option is currently available to travelers booked under the Your Time Dining plan via Carnival’s HUB App.
The faster dining option has debuted on several ships sailing from Long Beach, including:
- Carnival Radiance: Capacity for 2,984 guests, offering cruises ranging from 2-10 days to Hawaii and Mexico.
- Carnival Panorama: Accommodating 4,008 guests on itineraries to Mexico lasting 2-9 days.
- Carnival Firenze: Hosting 4,126 passengers, with diverse sailing routes to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and South America, among others.
In addition to Long Beach, Express Dining will also be introduced across a broader selection of ships, including the Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Celebration, Mardi Gras, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Horizon, and others by the end of May.
This new service reflects Carnival’s commitment to enhancing the dining experience for its guests, offering a valuable alternative for those looking for efficiency without sacrificing quality. As more ships integrate the Express Dining option, it aims to redefine how guests enjoy their cruise experience.
