In a recent interview, Carl Radke, star of the reality series Summer House, opened up about his love for reading and shared his favorite books, emphasizing their role in inspiring him throughout his personal journey.
Radke’s passion for literature is rooted in his family’s influence, particularly from his grandfather and mother, both avid readers. “My grandfather, Carl Radke, loved books and read well into his 70s and 80s. My mom is also an avid reader, and we share books every once in a while,” Radke noted.
His own writing journey has culminated in the release of his memoir, Cake Eater, in which he shares the challenges of his sobriety and the profound loss of his brother in 2020.
