Two individuals were arrested on Wednesday in relation to an extensive cargo theft and e-commerce resale operation, according to authorities.
Hannah Noto, 25, of North Hills, and Jude Bigay, 26, of Sunland, allegedly confessed to defrauding several clothing companies and selling stolen goods on the live-stream platform Whatnot, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
A search at a warehouse located on Stagg Street in Van Nuys revealed over 55 pallets of stolen commercial and train cargo, which included items from brands such as EDIKTED, ALO, SKIMS, Ariat, Milwaukee, Ninja, Dyson, and Duracell. Authorities estimated the value of the recovered goods to be approximately $1 million.
