Cardi B Returns to SNL with Electrifying Performances
New York, NY – Cardi B made a highly anticipated return to Saturday Night Live on January 31, showcasing tracks from her latest album, Am I the Drama? The Bronx rapper took the stage during an episode hosted by Alexander Skarsgård, where she performed "Bodega Baddie" and "ErrTime."
In her first number, Cardi energized the audience with "Bodega Baddie," a track infused with merengue and dembow influences. The performance featured an array of high-energy dancers and included a special appearance by renowned Dominican accordionist El Prodigio, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.
“It’s such an honor for me to perform on one of the most prestigious stages in America… SNL with THEE @elprodigiord!” Cardi expressed on Instagram following her performance. “Bringing real Dominican sound, real Dominican culture, infused with the sounds and culture of the Bronx! Y’all don’t understand I’m sooo happy!”
Later in the evening, she returned for a commanding rendition of "ErrTime," which is currently nominated for Outstanding Hip Hop/Rap Song at the 2026 NAACP Image Awards.
The episode also featured Cardi in a cameo during the "Immigrant Dad Talk Show" sketch alongside cast member Marcello Hernandez and host Skarsgård. This appearance marked Cardi’s first return to SNL since 2018, when she performed on an episode hosted by the late Chadwick Boseman.
Her return to Studio 8H offered fans a glimpse of her upcoming Little Miss Drama Tour, which is set to kick off on February 11 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. This 35-date North American arena tour supports her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in October.
