Calabasas Sophomore Shines in Varsity Debut
In a standout performance during his varsity debut, Calabasas sophomore second baseman Auron Blackledge hit a home run on the seventh pitch of his first at-bat on Friday. He concluded the game with three hits and three RBIs, contributing to the Coyotes’ impressive 7-0 victory over Castaic.
Pitching was also a highlight, as Luke Szymanski struck out five batters and issued no walks across five innings, showcasing a commanding presence on the mound.
In other notable games, Gahr secured a dominant 16-3 win against Santa Margarita, with Andres Gonzalez and Bryce Morrison each contributing three hits.
