Following BTS’s highly anticipated comeback concert in Seoul, the members expressed heartfelt gratitude toward their fans, reflecting on the significance of the performance.
In messages shared on Weverse after the show, the band thanked ARMY for their support during the March 21 event, emphasizing their joy at having finally performed together again. In a collective statement posted to RM’s profile, they wrote, “Hello, this is BTS. After four long years of waiting, the seven members gathered again and faced you in a meaningful space called Gwanghwamun.”
The group continued, “We would like to thank everyone for their generous consideration and support so that our return stage can be completed safely.” They acknowledged the hard work of local police and firefighters, who ensured the safety of the performance amidst large crowds.
BTS also offered sincere apologies and thanks to the residents of Gwanghwamun for any inconveniences caused by traffic controls and noise during the concert.
The announcement follows their first full concert in years at Gwanghwamun Square, during which they performed in celebration of their new album, ARIRANG, released on March 20. Individual messages from band members also appeared on their Weverse profiles. Notably, Jimin remarked, “Yesterday was an unforgettable day thanks to ARMY.”

With the comeback concert concluded, BTS is set to travel to the United States to further promote ARIRANG. Following fan interactions and a performance at a Spotify event in New York City, the group will make an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
ARIRANG marks BTS’s first full-length album since 2020’s Be, which topped the Billboard 200. Since then, the band members have engaged in various solo projects while fulfilling their military service commitments in South Korea.
