Trending on Billboard
BTS’s new album, ARIRANG, has topped this week’s fan-voted music poll, demonstrating the K-pop group’s significant influence in the industry.
The poll, published on Friday, March 20, asked fans to choose their favorite new release. BTS emerged as the clear favorite, securing an impressive 94% of the votes as the poll closed on Sunday.
ARIRANG stands out among a week that also showcased new music from Niall Horan, Lizzo, and Paris Paloma, among others. This album, consisting of 14 tracks released by BigHit, was highly anticipated by the ARMY during the group’s hiatus while its members fulfilled mandatory military service in South Korea. The last full-length album from BTS, BE, was released in 2020, following their 2022 compilation album, Proof, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Featuring production from notable names such as Diplo, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Ryan Tedder, ARIRANG showcases the artistry and versatility of the group.
In addition to the album release, BTS premiered a music video for the track “SWIM,” featuring actress Lili Reinhart and directed by Tanu Muiño, further heightening excitement among fans.
Looking ahead, fans can anticipate a global stadium tour set to begin in April, adding to the buzz surrounding the album launch.
Trailing behind ARIRANG in the poll were several new singles, including Niall Horan’s “Dinner Party,” Lizzo’s “Don’t Make Me Love U,” Paris Paloma’s “Miyazaki,” and Dermot Kennedy’s “Honest.”
Final poll results reveal the overwhelming support for BTS’s latest work, highlighting their continued relevance in the music landscape.
