Multiple sources recently confirmed that social media influencer Alix Earle and NFL player Braxton Berrios have split after two years of dating. Berrios’s absence from the live tapings of Dancing with the Stars, where Earle was competing, led to speculation about their relationship status. However, he defended his decision to miss the events in a series of Instagram comments.
Days after the breakup was reported, Berrios addressed the situation on Instagram, posting photos of his game day outfits with the caption, "What did I miss?" His comments generated mixed reactions from fans, with some interpreting the caption as a reference to Drake’s song while others pointedly reminded him of Earle’s performances.
Although he explained his absence during a fan exchange, stating, "I would’ve loved to be. Sadly I wasn’t able to travel like that in-season," his comments only amplified the ongoing conversation about his support for Earle during her time on the show.

Berrios later addressed fans who criticized his absence, affirming that he would have attended every show if possible. Speaking about his recent activities, he mentioned celebrating his 30th birthday in Los Angeles during his bye week and shared reflections about his travels.
Following the split, Earle posted her own content on Instagram, humorously questioning, “Can’t a girl just go dancing?” showcasing snippets from her outings with friends. Fans quickly noticed the timing of her post coinciding with Berrios’s comments.
